"There's the one thing no nation can ever accuse us of and that is secret diplomacy. Our foreign dealings are an open book, generally a check book."

Foreign AidDollars for Despots! All taxation is theft from a wage earner. It is immoral. Imagine how wicked an act it is to take money from an individual and hand it to a foreign government, individual or group. All foreign aid should stop immediately. Foreign governments, many inimical to Americans, receive taxpayer support. Even wealthy countries well able to survive without our money, receive payments, and often pay off politicians here in re-election efforts. Hearts and minds …
Besides the immorality, it contributes towards subsidizing foreign entities that may otherwise fail due to lack of popular or rational support. Such foreign aid increases the likelihood of terrorist acts on Americans. Why? All governments have enemies both foreign and domestic. Because any money given by our federal government to a foreign government is correctly perceived by those who oppose that government as our support for that government. Therefore, the friend of my enemy is also my enemy. This is equally true of our federal government giving money to groups who oppose governments the federal government opposes. That government becomes more hostile toward Americans when it finds out where the newly found money for its enemies has come from. And nations always have much more assets to strike at Americans, than terrorist groups. Remember this is also true when our government gives money to another country, that that other country may have enemies of other, usually adjacent, nations. Foreign aid is often a bribe, frequently to a group of despots. When you are a child, hopefully you learned the lesson of buying your friends on the school yard. You are popular, but not respected, until the candy runs out. Then you new “friends” evaporate. Your government officials, so at ease with buying you, never learned this lesson – since for them, the candy never runs out. Foreign aid always comes with strings attached. The recipients MUST do the bidding of Washington D.C. bureaucrats, even when the requested actions make no logical sense to the nations on the other side of the world. Repeal laws that currently prohibit Americans or other residents from donating their services and money to any foreign nations, groups or causes with whom we are not in a declared war. The bottom line: Taxing people to transfer money to others is wrong. Taking people's money to transfer to a foreign government is just about as bad as it gets. Worse, this money typically goes to make multimillionaires out of a few dictators.
