USA Today has come out with a new survey: Apparently three out of four people make up 75 percent of the population.

                    Candidate Surveys

Candidates are asked to fill out a lot of surveys.  Most of them are worthless, check the boxes crud, that serve two purposes, neither of which is to solicit a candidate's opinion.  Purpose one:  To covertly inform the candidate what issues are important to the surveying organization,... "so if you want our support you had better get in line."

The other purpose is to give the organization a vehicle to show that they are "doing something" with all your hard earned contributions (even when they may really be  doing little), and they can use the survey when they send it out, as yet another request for your contributions.

Those surveys that are available online, and allow me to actually say something, I will post a link to on this page.

The Arizona Republic

Joyce Meyer Ministries (a PDF file)

Lake Havasu News Herald (a PDF file; ordinarily I do not post candidate docs if there is a web site link.)

Center For Arizona Policy (a PDF file)

AZPharmPAC survey (a PDF file)

AFL-CIO (I got a rating of 1%!  I will demand a recount until I get zero.)

National Political Awareness Test (NPAT; Project Vote Smart) Comprehensive, but only brief answers allowed.  Check out the other Arizona Libertarian candidates while you are there.  Their comments give you a pretty brief tutorial on "no compromise" libertarianism.  The same would be true of the Arizona Republic surveys.

The Glendale Star (a PDF doc; ordinarily I do not post candidate docs if there is a web site link.)  I was restricted to no more than 300 words total so answers are short and incomplete.

Americans for Legal Immigration PAC survey (a PDF doc)

Echo Magazine (a PDF file)  [Arizona's Gay community magazine]

Catholic Conference (a PDF doc)  Worthless, as it does not even include my qualifying statements (see notes), but is a good example of why these response surveys are worthless to voters.

Jewish News of Greater Phoenix  (a PDF doc)

West Valley View (a PDF doc)
